“Scott Green is a very clever, funny performer. In Excellence In Family Magic, you’ll learn his effective strategies for writing, selling, and performing magic that will amaze and amuse the kids and entertain their parents. Recommended.”—Tom Frame, Genii Magazine review
"A wealth of information about how to be a working performer... There is a lot in this book, but you will go through it easily because the book is funny. It is written for you the adult, not for kids, and Green's humor is directed to you in a way that will keep you reading."—Jim Kleefeld, M-U-M Magazine review
"As fun to read as it was informative and inspirational. Highly recommended!"—Skip Way, Kidabra Journal review
"Scott Green is a great new voice in magic for children. I enjoyed reading this book and I know you will too."—From the Foreword by David Kaye
“Scott Green is forging new territory in the world of children’s entertainment. I don’t care if you’re a beginner or a lifelong pro, you will learn from Scott’s approach to the art form. You’ll start applying his ideas to your very next show (if not, you’re just plain crazy).”—Christopher T. Magician
“If you perform children’s magic shows, go get this three-DVD set and watch everything.”—Jim Kleefeld, M-U-M Magazine Review
Start with two full 45-minute shows with performance rights for 11 knockout routines and explanations of 7 more; a bonus show in a 1,000-seat auditorium; and Scott’s Magic Castle set. That would be a great DVD set on its own, but add one commentary track with Scott and Dave Cox, two with Scott and Carisa Hendrix, and two more with Scott and Christopher T. Magician. Then add Scott discussing the thoughts and theory that have made his show such a hit. That would be an epic DVD set. But add in 40 minutes of Scott’s favorite of his live TV appearances and a 30-minute behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of Scott’s newest trick and this 3-DVD set could be an all-time great. With TEN HOURS of total content, you’re not getting everything BUT the kitchen sink. It’s everything AND the kitchen sink.
This super easy-to-perform prop lets you show all the pages in a book right-side up, even when you turn the book upside down or sideways—the pictures are always right-side-up, up until the magician wants them to appear upside down.
Get my full 5-minute routine, AND I’m including my full 8-minute routine I use in my shows that also incorporates a standard family magic prop you almost certainly have in your collection already and takes the whole thing over the top.
Now in a special printing—the book is JUMBO SIZED (11 by 11 inches) with thick, strong pages. It’s awesome!
A new utility effect for your Christmas shows
Every year, Santa Claus makes a list of every child who celebrates Christmas and what they'd like him to bring down the chimney.
You'll have a volunteer randomly choose a gift from the list. It seems completely fair—because it basically is. But it's a force. They choose the name and gift you've predetermined.
The best thing is, Santa's List gives YOU the choice to choose what is forced. This isn't like a Svengali deck where every time you perform it, the card will be the same. There are at least 50 different forces possible, and you can choose any of them for any performance. You're in control!
Your order includes enough supplies for 50 performances. You'll also get a bunch of different presentation ideas, including the coal fakeout from the video below, the appearing gift combo, the Wiffle Bat surprise, and more. This new 2020 version of the prop also includes Zoom-friendly items.
Here’s the original performance, on WCIU in Chicago:

Note the prop you’re ordering has several improvements. Rather than a stack of sheets, it’s one looooong sheet, a single section from Santa’s long flowing list—each performance you’ll have a nearly three foot long gift list. It’s also designed with a font that makes it basically impossible for anyone to spot the gimmick.
Finally, a packs-flat plays-big trick for Hannukah! Add it to your Christmas show and make it into a Winter Season show that’s easier to market to schools and libraries.
Uses Scott’s brilliant progressive coloring book method, where a normal length coloring book is specially tabbed to give six distinct phases—including a kicker ending. One at a time, pictures of unlit candles light up, until finally the audience changes every page into something great about Hannukah.
Finally, a spot card with a blow-em-away ending that makes sense. An improvement on a classic!
SOMETHING COMPLETELY NEW FOR THE COLORING BOOK CONCEPT - one that even fools children who know the usual coloring book prop. A broccoli catalog becomes a magic catalog, but only for one audience member. Interactive with a knock-out twist ending.
PERFECT FOR LIBRARIES AND SCHOOL READING ASSEMBLIES
It's a mentalism routine kids love, using six volunteers! Packs tiny, plays HUGE! Super simple to perform! Bring a classic series of children's books to life while determining which volunteer has secretly taken the red crayon.
You get the specially printed book and gimmicked crayons, as well as the name tags.
Cards? For kids? Yes! This great routine is perfect for children 8 and older—and adults!
A law book seems to guide you step-by-step through a very funny process wherein a volunteer chooses a card (you never need to touch the deck) and, by law, you are unable to find it in increasingly funny ways.
In the end, every page of the book has the selected card. The prop is cleverly designed to hide the patter, which means you don't even have to memorize anything.
The best rabbit puppet routine - get 10 minutes of hysterical interaction the adults love as much as the kids. Includes everything you need, so you'll get a lot of fun stuff.
My amazing Professor's Nightmare routine with performance rights and full explanation of my unique handling, plus a set of ultimate-quality ropes.
A breakthrough in coloring book technology! With the same number of pages as a regular coloring book, get SIX PHASES of magic!
Show the audience a blank notebook. As they talk about the show you’ve just performed, the pages fill, one-by-one, with rudimentary words and pictures that match their descriptions. Finally, in a flash, the drawings change into a gorgeously illustrated picture book.
An incredible closer for your show.
